Conscious Living @ VT

Dr. Kathlyn Hendricks has graciously offered her time freely. However, we are eliciting donations/sponsors to help defray the cost of the workshop itself. Please give generously as this will help us to facilitate more participants. Any excess funds will be used to create additional events in the future that promote healing.

We have created a dream list, not knowing how it will all be accomplished or even if it will be accomplished, but believing in the power of asking for what we want. It is included below:

          1. We want to be able to provide free hotel & travel accommodations to all our out of town guests (including the victim’s families as well as the Hendricks Apprentices who are volunteering their time to support us).
                          • Specifically, this entails approximately 30 hotel rooms and 20 flights.
          2. It is important to us to conduct this event as environmentally-friendly as possible as well as supporting our local Blacksburg community. What we are asking for is financial support, creative ideas, as well as expert assistance in making this a sustainable event.
                          • Specifically, we are looking for donations of locally grown food that we will then use to offer free lunches to our participants.
          3. We are wondering if you might be willing to include a link on your website that leads to our donation page on our website.
          4. Upon completing the workshop, we would like to offer participants a gift bag of creative, sustainable items to remember the emotions, comfort, and healing the event provided.
                          • Our ideas include: t-shirts with our logo, water bottles with our logo, lavender oil, blankets to be used during the workshop and then given away.
